Professor van Giffen in Groninger Museum
A 3D stereoscopic film made for the ‘Professor van Giffen’ exhibition in the Groninger Museum in 2006.
Van Giffen was the most important archaeologist of the Netherlands in the first half of the 20th century. He did some remarkable discoveries in the Northern Netherlands concerning prehistoric settlements on man made hills. He specialized in hunebeds and tumuli.
The original stereoscopic film was presented by means of polarized projection.
On this site it is presented in the anaglyph system (red cyan glasses needed). Made together with students of Minerva art academy.
